The silk for this haori is lightweight. The cloth is woven black on black pebble design. It gives the silk a great finish which takes light really well. The damask (rinzu) finish is off set by a lacquered pattern of gold, silver and green ornate disks also woven. The haori is lined in a cream colored stenciled silk. The lining pattern of bamboo is further decorated in sumie bamboo. It has one family crest in the hollyhock motif. The haori is in good condition. 48 x 33
