The silk for this lightweight haori has been decorated in hand painted yuzen flowers. The bold coloration of the flowers is accented by gold leaf surihaku. The design includes peonies, chrysanthemums and bamboo. Gold leaf outlines and accents the patten. The blooms rest on wide irregular shapes, perhaps poem cards. The colors are subtle and sophisticated. The haori is fully lined in stenciled silk.We love the purple haori. They are so rich looking.
