Antique Samurai Boy's Ceremonial Kimono Antique Pre- WW2 Japanese Kimono @1935. The silk for this special kimono is lightweight. The kimono has been hand painted. The artist presents a lone warrior and his horse on the center back of the kimono. Each sleeve is decorated in a similar military scene. One sleeve shows a battle ship and the other war banners. The designs are beautifully colored and illustrated. The miyamairi is the kimono a baby boy wears for his first visit to the family shrine. The miyamairi is in good condition. 32.5 x 41
